ORI AVIRAM

Ori Aviram has been working ceaselessly for more than twenty years. As an autodidact artist, Aviram had worked in different mediums throughout the years – sculpture, assemblage, collage, drawing and painting. At present, oil paint is his expertise.

His work ranges from figurative to expressive and abstract. Aside from his large formats, Aviram is characterized by his series using secondhand platforms, where their past becomes an inseparable part of the new composition. Cultural context frequently returns in his works, among it biblical stories and histories of local and western art.

Aviram had conducted several solo exhibitions, and had participated in group exhibitions at museums, galleries, and alternative spaces.
